Ok. These people need to get laid. |
As we came back from our walk by the bay we were just in time to catch the beginning of the gay parade march heading to Luneta. Colorful, loud and proud. Many ready to pose for me (probably thinking I was gay. Then again everybody here tends to assume that after they realize I am actually a girl) and stealing the thunder of the god-lovers on the side. It's funny. We live in a country where the gay population seems so abundant and very, very open their sexuality and yet here was the yearly parade held in a part of town where homosexuality is part of Malate's charm to only attract the christian community "attempting" to bring them redemption through God's "grace" and "forgiveness".
I'm confused.
